Role description for the Unit Linked Insurance Product Manager/Wealth Management Product Owner:

• The Product Manager is accountable for determining and executing on the Wealth Management strategy, that will ensure product success globally.
• This role holds responsibility for the Unit Linked Insurance Plan (ULIP) offering within the Wealth Technology solution.
• The companies Wealth offering is a combination of both software and services providing its clients with significant functionality across many jurisdictions.
• The unique characteristics within the unit linked insurance industry require detailed understanding of both product and regulatory requirements to be effective in managing the product.
• The position is viewed as a subject matter expert and will contribute to the continued success of the company's product/s.

• Product strategy leader to help drive the Product Offering.
• Comprehensive combination of business and technical expertise.
• Experience utilising SQL to prepare relational database (SQL Server) queries for analytical and reporting purposes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience conducting/participating in complex solution design as the subject matter expert.
• Preparing detailed requirements analysis documentation to support the development of cost effective, client driven, information management systems for both internal and external clients.
• Designing Trading Workflow Solutions based on business requirements, market knowledge and industry standards.
• Experience with full trade life cycle, trading desks and equity/Fixed Income markets.
• Familiarity Unit Linked Insurance Products.
• Ability to assist with marketing collateral, product demonstrations and presales activities as SME.
• Knowledge of rebalancing process and the full trade life cycle.

Essential Skills & Requirements for the Unit Linked Insurance Product Manager/Wealth Management Product Owner role:

• Exposure to Unit Linked Insurance Products.
• Experience Developing the strategy, roadmap, and features of a product.
• A related university degree in finance, economics, math, or computer science or relevant professional experience.
• Strong technical skills, business intelligence, and a full understanding of the needs of the customer.
• An effective communicator with skills to effectively communicate with external clients and internal teams.
• An individual who build bridges and can act as an interface between development teams, implementation teams, and sales teams.
