Michael Page Logistics are looking to recruit a Senior Logistics Manager for our client based in Conbrook.

Our client are hugely successful logistics provider who predominately provide services to the airfreight scector. Due to continued sauces and request of their clients they are looking to launch a new business unit to focus on pharmaceutical distribution.

Description

In the role of Senior Logistics Manager you will have a varied remit and will be the driving behind the new division suppirted by comopany director and project manager. Primary responsibilities will include:

• Execution of the Company's business plan to create and establish a new Pharma division, including recruitment, procurement, drafting SOPs & process mapping.
• Responsible for all aspects of running the division such as workload planning, training, ensuring adequate resources are in place to meet work levels, GDP compliance.
• Using your industry knowledge to develop the business into a high quality service which is both sustainable and profitable.

Profile

To be successful you will require:

• Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and an appreciation of the MHRA.
• Proven/demonstrable experience in managing GDP compliant, Temperature Controlled freight movement
• Commercially minded, appreciating the needs and purpose of this brand new division with experience in business development.
• A flexible, proactive and practical attitude
• Superb attention to detail skills and an in-depth appreciation of Good Distribution Practice (GDP), particularly in the MHRA/Pharmaceuticals arena.
