Head of Cyber Security Locations: London / Birmingham (hybrid working)Salary: £110,000 - £130,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A global leader in the health product market are undergoing an ambitious project to modernise their technology stack and become a cloud first organisation. With this in mind, they are hiring for a Head of Cyber Security to play a critical part in defining a security strategy and roadmap to support their digital transformation.

As the Head of Cyber you will work directly with the CISO, collaborating with the wider business leaders and C-suite members to implement a successful security roadmap including everything from strategy, tooling, recruitment, and budget.

What you will do:

• Create a complex security capability for the organisation that will allow the smooth transformation into a cloud native infrastructure.
• Develop policies, standards, and processes to match and protect the company's wider strategic objectives.
• Translate critical cyber security needs and processes to senior stakeholders in the business, creating buy in for processes, platforms, and strategy.
• Define and build a highly skilled team of technical security professionals covering multiple areas of cyber including, SOC, Engineering, Infosec and architecture.

What you will have:

• Track record of successfully implementing large scale technology focused programs (ideally security focused).
• High level knowledge of creating complex, collaborative teams that can operate autonomously aligned to clearly defined roadmap.
• Experience in scaling teams identifying critical areas of need, and expertise needed.
• Ability to develop junior members of the team to constantly improve overall team capability and leave a strong legacy for the security department.
• Ideally strong focus around cyber security, including professional certifications: CISSP, CISM, ISO27001, SANS etc.
