The UK division of a growth-oriented, pan European, private equity owned firm is looking for their first UK Finance Director to join their team. They believe that impact investment is an efficient way to achieve social and environmental benefit, and along with a team of highly skilled individuals and a purpose-driven approach they are becoming role models in sustainability.

Duties
  • Reporting to Managing Director, as the UK Finance Director you will be responsible for assessing and overseeing the company's financial activities, as well as developing a strategy for the future and cooperating with the group's CFO.
  • Responsible for accounting, reporting and best practices
  • Preparation of management & statutory accounts
  • Support group M&A activity
  • Implementation of new business systems (e.g., Microsoft D365)
  • Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these are operating effectively

What are we looking for?

This role is ideal for an experienced Finance Director with excellent analytical skills and extensive commercial and accounting experience. It's essential that you'll be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACMA) as well as having good IT knowledge of Excel and, ideally business systems, coupled with being able to liaise with non-financial internal and external stakeholders coupled.
