Job Details
Developing SHEQ Strategy across the business, and ensuring the function is fit for purpose and integrated across the organisation.
Reporting to CEO and part of the SLT.
Client Details
A national business in the Construction sector.
Description
Lead and deliver the SHEQ strategy across the organisation
Drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Provide visible leadership within the business, with a proactive safety culture.
Coach, support and mentor managers in delivering SHEQ legislation and standards.
Provide development and mentoring to the SHEQ team including associated SHEQ champions, growing the function.
Lead, design and improve on management systems, ensuring certification is maintained in line with ISO.
Completing regular audit across the various sites associated with the business operations, including annual audits.
Lead on incident and accident management, and root cause.
Monthly SHEQ reporting to Board.
Managing budget, liability claims, and Occ Health.
Profile
An effective leader, able to demonstrate examples of implement, improving and delivering on leading SHEQ standards
NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
Experience in managing ISO systems (9001, 14001, 45001)
Ideally CMIOSH but negotiable
Strong Environmental legislation understanding.
A clear and robust knowledge of the latest SHEQ legislation and best practice.
Experience of managing and developing people, building relationships and excellent communication skills.
Job Offer
