A leading fintech business is seeking a Head of ESG to be based from their central London office, in a hybrid working pattern.

Reporting into a member of the Executive Board and with a CEO who is committed to implementing ESG as a core business pillar, this is an exciting opportunity to deliver their entire strategy and net zero road map. You will lead their growing ESG team, support the business as it rebrands around sustainability, work on achieving B Corp status and aid in new product development.

Key duties will include:

* Develop and implement the Group's ESG strategy and net zero action plan.

* Ensuring robust measurement frameworks are in place for reporting across the Group including carbon footprinting.

* Drive and develop the Group's social value projects.

* Work with the Customer Product Director to measure the impact of their product and proposition offerings.

* Lead the ESG Committee and development of policies and processes.

* Develop ESG programmes to drive, awareness, engagement and commitment throughout the business.

* Provide leadership and advice across the Group on key sustainability initiatives.

* Develop a communication roadmap that aids the delivery of the sustainability strategies and programmes.

* Work with key stakeholders to enhance their understanding and awareness on sustainability.

Candidates should have:

* Proven track record in a similar role, delivering successful ESG strategy and implementation across a complex business.

* Forward thinking capabilities, the ability to set a strong vision for the Group's ESG pathway.

* Strong people management and stakeholder management skills.

* Successful experience of meeting business targets and aligning results to business requirements.

* Good commercial acumen, awareness of the financial and commercial impacts, both long- and short-term, on the business's financial performance, and the influence of these on an evolving ESG strategy.

Desirable are:

* Experience delivering a similar role in the FinTech or financial services sector.

* Experience in working in a regulated environment.

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of between £120,000 and £150,000 based on skills, plus a good bonus and benefits
