We are looking to recruit a Technical Director for our client based in the Northwest and the Midlands.
Our client has a global presence and specialises in transport infrastructure. They contribute to the continuous development and improvement of transport systems across the UK. Projects range from those that facilitate walking and cycling to some of the largest infrastructure programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take a lead role within an engineering team and take ownership for delivering solutions to some of the most challenging large scale civil engineering projects across the UK.
They are looking for:
A relevant degree and preferably an MSc or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Mechanics, Geology or Engineering Geology;
Someone who is committed and ambitious
Someone who has extensive experience of Ground Engineering within the Rail Environment.
Someone who has strong technical leadership
Excellent interpersonal skills
Charted status
A high degree of expertise in Ground Engineering and or Geotechnical design within the rail environment.The successful candidate can expect a salary of £80,000-£85,000. A comprehensive and attractive benefits package will also be provided and flexible working options
