Michael Page Logistics are looking to recruit for a Warehousing and Project Manager for our client in Slough with regular travel to 3rd party sites in the midlands and north.

In the role of Warehouse and Project Manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for the overseeing of the entire Warehouse operation and management of the budget.
• Lead a small team to develop an outperforming team which consistently ensures a high level of service at a well-managed cost
• Challenging and improving current practices in cooperation with external and internal partners.
• Supply Chain Optimisation
• Monthly responsibility to manage, control and reduce costs across the Logistics and Warehousing and to work with team members to reduce total supply chain cost.
• Budget preparation and management for Warehousing UK&I.
• Ensure all regulatory and quality requirements are met within the UK&I supply chain
• Ensure a constant pipeline of productivity
• Coordinate and deliver Logistics and Warehousing projects

Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience of 3rd party logistics provider management ideally within a FMCG company. You have been responsible for bBudget and Contract Management as well as managing and preparing for internal and external audits. The role will lead a small team of 3 Logistics Coordinator s so people management qualities are important. Previous experience managing within warehouse operation and exposure to project Management to driving productivity will also be help to be successful in the role.
