Aderant Consultant needed for implementation project for major UK law firm, based in the East Midlands. You will need to have strong experience of the Aderant Practice Management System for the legal sector. Particular functional areas where we require expertise include Account Payable & Receivables, Day to Day Accounting & Financials.

You should have some experience of implementing and preferably testing major business applications, ideally Aderant. We are looking for a confident, calm IT professional with excellent communication skills, preferably with consulting experience and capable of dealing with senior stakeholders as well as the implementation team and business users.

The role is to work as the Aderant test expert for the implementation, to work closely with project managers, sponsors and technical team members to assure quality on multiple streams of work.

You must be a pro-active and outspoken team member with excellent communication skills, capable of producing clear and concise documentation.

Requirements

Essential

• 3-5 years of Aderant legal software experience
• Software testing experience - ideally User Acceptance level
• Strong experience of Aderant modules under Financial Management - Aderant Account Payable & Receivable, Collections, Disbursement, Billing, Budget, General Ledger.
• Should have tested Aderant Accounting workflows with Invoice & Billing module
• Should have good understanding of Aderant Security Manager & Aderant Expert Assistant
• Strong experience of testing configured Aderant requirements (functional & integration)
• Should be able to correlate Business requirements with Aderant functions
• Possess skills in identifying gaps in Aderant Accounting workflows & suggest improvements
• Proven experience of writing test plans, test scenarios, test cases and reports to a customer facing, consultancy level

Advantageous

• Experience working with Business users on Acceptance testing, providing the necessary support where needed
