A leading chemical manufacturer are looking for an Operations Manager to lead a regulated process environment, people safely efficiently and through projects of growth.

Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the safe production of product, responsible for leading people, quality of product in a cost effective manner. The Operations Manager will be able to understand complex chemical manufacturing and related equipment, to ensure that there is culture of route cause analysis, continuous improvement via training, development of staff. You will organise operations to ensure material, equipment and people are available to meet manufacturing plan and customer needs.

Profile

The successful candidate will have a strong operational/plant leadership in chemical, oil & gas or related environment. Ideally you will be degree qualified in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or qualified by experience. You will have strong knowledge and previous track record in leading COMAH, HSE relationships or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead projects, be an advocate of CI.
