My client are looking for a Global Head of Operations for their facilities in Oxfordshire, UK and Dusseldorf, Germany with their time being split between the two locations. The role will be to grow and develop all sites, embody the companies vision and drive their clear growth plans.

My client is Europe's leading manufacturer of Personal Protective Equipment. My client has grown considerably in the last 5 years having invested across the globe. They have gone from three manufacturing sites in the UK to having facilities throughout Europe, USA and Asia.

Description

The responsibilities for the role are:

• To lead the factory operations of the sites from order to fulfilment.
• To develop the operations teams ensuring multi skilling of the staff and focus on lead time to serve.
• Meet the budgeted KPI's & SLA's.
• Exceed internal and external customer expectations in terms of quality and delivery.
• Be a key figure in the creation and delivery of capital investment projects.
• Ensure all people in the factories conform to H&S requirements and legislation.
• Manage multiple site across the UK and Germany.

Profile

The ideal candidate will:

• Be able to travel to Germany for 2 weeks out of every month.
• Be a positive leader, within a manufacturing environment.
• Have the ability to drive cultural change within an organisation.
• Be able to manage multiple global sites.
• Have an understanding of injection moulding or plastics.
• Come from a product, not process, driven company.

Job Offer
