Interim Head of FP&A (Outside IR35) | Global Tech Business | Private Equity Backed | South Wales/ Remote

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a private equity backed technology business in their search for an interim Head of FP&A. They are a leading company within their field with a turnover of over £100 million and offices across the globe, working with clients ranging from blue chip organisations to smaller independent enterprises.

This is an exciting opportunity as the interim Head of FP&A will be responsible for building the FP&A function from scratch within a highly profitable business, whilst working closely alongside C-Suite stakeholders as well as various internal teams. Thus, requires an individual who is experienced within the FP&A remit and has the willingness to be hands on.

Our client offers a flexible working arrangement, with the requirement to come into the office 2/3 days a week and the rest working from home. The business is filled with incredibly talented individuals who are looking to employ a more modern approach.

This contract is up to 6 months, with an extension up to a year and a possibility of being made permanent dependent on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up the FP&A function from scratch
• Production and reviewing of the forecasts and budgets
• Analysis of profitability for different service lines
• Business partnering with various teams internal teams to improve efficiency across the function
• Creation and reviewing of efficient KPI dashboards
• Working alongside the CFO & CEO on ad hoc projects

What we need to see (Essential):

• Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Previous experience setting up an FP&A function from scratch
• Experience working in businesses with over £15 mil t/o
• Willingness to be 'hands on'

What we would like to see (Bonus):

• Industry experience within tech or engineering
• Experience working in corporate finance or private equity

Location: South Wales/ Remote

Day Rate: £700 - £900 per day (Outside IR35)

Contract Length: 6 months - 1 year (with the possibility of going permanent)
