Head of Technology (work anywhere) who can boast an impressive SW background required for tactical, strategy and execution work. This is a newly created role and will report through to the CTO. Overseeing 3 technical teams (40+) and working closely with the Head of product, you will oversee circa 50+ and be involved in:

* Scaling engineering teams to implement integration roadmaps
* Delivery of product solutions
* Expansion of the product into Europe
* Cloud-native modernisation of applications
* Development of API first strategy
* The re-engineering of the major application into a number of modern web applications, associated API's and services
* Application refresh - branding and usability update as a stop-gap before we start building our Front End applications.

The Head of Technology role oversees people, process and technology for product development as a whole. You will be key to leading our development function (Java, Azure, Node.JS, SpringBoot, API's, mobile and more), managing our managers and leading them and our teams on the journey to a high performing team.

We are looking for someone with deep experience of application development and cloud platforms and experience of leading engineering managers, principal engineers and teams. Experience working with customers to understand their needs - putting quality and the customer first is key.

This is a remote role with occasional meetups in London. Fantastic package on offer of circa GBP130k. Client interviewing immediate.
