About the Serious Fraud Office (SFO)
The SFO’s mission is to fight complex financial crime; to deliver justice to victims; and to protect the UK’s reputation as a safe place to do business. We do that by investigating and prosecuting some of the most serious fraud, bribery & corruption cases in the UK and, working with international partners, across the world and recovering the proceeds of crimes for victims and the UK taxpayer. Recent examples of our successes include the Airbus global settlement of c£1bn, convictions in cases against GPT and Petrofac, and recovery of £45m of proceeds of crime in 2022/23.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced, energetic and problem-solving leader with experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex and high-profile results on our cases. We encourage applications from candidates with experience of leading successful teams across organisations and with a track record of challenging and changing the status quo.
We are on a journey to re-shape the Serious Fraud Office for the 21st century, making us digitally enabled in all we do, embracing new and emerging technologies to deliver our cases. You will use your excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and teams across the Serious Fraud Office.
In return, we offer the privilege of working on some of the most challenging and interesting criminal cases in the UK and international criminal justice systems and the satisfaction of delivering justice for victims of fraud, bribery and corruption in the UK and across the globe. If you have the drive and vision to deliver on this challenge, we look forward to hearing from you.
