A leading InsurTech provider are looking for a seasoned Agile Project Manager and Scrum Master to join their growing AI/ML division. Ideal role for someone who has orchestrated the development, deployment, and management of Software/AI based technologies, ideally technologies developed and deployed through TensorFlow Extended and Microsoft Azure/DevOps to join our dynamic Central Data Environment Division who are here to transition the marketplace from hype to meaningful output.

You will be joining an industry leader in the commercial insurance and reinsurance marketplace with aggressive plans which build on their existing industry leading software capabilities. You will be working within their Central Data Environment and will be introducing innovative propositions primarily focusing on regression-based modelling and workflow automation to deliver Proactive, Automated, and Smart functionalities that enhance the existing product and services portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Scrum ceremonies and acting as an escalation point for issues and risks
  • Work in a collaborative environment with stakeholders and feature development teams, typically consisting of a Product Owner, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers.
  • Ensure effective use of sprint retrospectives
  • Managing projects across multiple scrum teams
  • Guiding teams on the best & most efficient use of scrum practises and to act in a coach/mentor capacity
  • Providing Product Owner's with support on the product backlog, ensuring non-functional areas are considered in the backlog prioritisation process

Requirements:

  • Minimum of >5 years of directly related scrum master or Agile team lead professional experience within a Software or AI environment
  • CSM or other Agile qualification
  • Previous experience of enabling teams to achieve a regular, short term release cycles
  • Previous experience of Continuous Integration or continuous Development. (Desirable)
  • Proven leadership and negotiation skills
  • You must love fast-paced work environments and will be working on products that we are super proud of, so we expect only the best quality product
  • Ability to interact with co-workers at all levels of the company
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Technical background with a good understanding of software delivery, and technologies like; Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Convolutional Neural Networks, and their associated working environments, especially Tensorflow Extended
