Senior SQL Engineer - Investment Bank - VP Level

My client, a Tier 1 Investment Bank currently require a Senior Lead SQL Engineer to join the Accounting and Products control team within Business Finance Office technology to work on their well-established application which has an exciting pipeline of work, starting with a new web based UI, automated regression testing, and migration from SQL 2014 to SQL 2019.

This role will involve delivering database changes in SQL Server, and potentially Python changes, for stories prioritized by the Product Owner. As well as this, there will be an opportunity to mentor other software engineers and lead small projects and team members in delivery.

The ideal candidate will have excellent SQL development skills, as well as knowledge of Python development. Experience of GIT and Agile development processes would also be ideal. Any previous investment banking knowledge would be highly beneficial.
