Overview:
I am looking for a highly experienced Head of Software Engineering to join a leading FS organisation to help lead, manage and scale the software engineering teams.

This is a non technical role however our client's technology stack is: .NET Core, Azure, Micro services, Angular / React + many more. We require you to have experience of managing developers in the above tech environment.

Role & Responsibilities:
Build and lead a teams of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands on career development
Support timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs
Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices and help develop and evangelise great engineering and organisational practices
Grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with company values
Code reviews
Drive the release process and continue to implement improvements.
Ensuring Software Security Development Lifecycle is followed appropriately

Essential Skills & Experience:
Plan, organise and prioritise work in conjunction with the development team
Manage and report on project deliverables
Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Translate a high-level roadmap into regular deliverables
Strong development experience, although this is not a hands on role
Minimum of 4 years of overseeing engineering teams in an .NET or Java agile environment
Experience of working in a cloud and micro service environment
Knowledge of project management tools and processes.
Experience of monitoring and managing products in production
