Description

You will be responsible for the support and delivery of marketing activities, market penetration, and brand awareness. Marketing will include providing communications, merchandising, brand management, lead generation, social and digital marketing, campaign management, market and customer research, and database marketing.

The main responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

  • To contribute to the strategic planning of an annual or long-term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives
  • To support the sales team with marketing campaigns and materials to generate leads and drive sales
  • To plan and budget marketing expenditure
  • To liaise and build relationships with current vendors, maximising partnership benefits including additional budget
  • To manage the production and distribution of marketing collateral
  • Writing and proofreading copy, liaising with designers and printers for marketing campaigns and collateral, and internal communications
  • To maintain, build and update mailing databases
  • To organise and attend relevant events and exhibitions
  • To plan and execute email campaigns, using an automation platform
  • To plan, promote and execute events, arranging sponsorship / speakers where appropriate
  • To develop strategic relations to secure sponsorship to assist with the publicity and funding of marketing projects
  • Manage external agencies inc. social media, design, telesales, where appropriate
  • To maintain social media platforms in conjunction with the Social Media agency; Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, promoting new products and services, industry news and relevant up-coming events on a daily basis
  • To manage digital PPC advertising
  • To write and proof-read blogs, from time-to-time using expertise of other people within the business, to create relevant and topical content to promote on our website and social media
  • To build content for press releases and news releases
  • To update case studies and testimonials for use on website, social media and marketing collateral
  • To evaluate marketing campaigns and report ROI to the Financial Director
  • To carry out market research and customer profiles to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness

Profile

The successful Marketing Manager, will have experience in creating a delivering a marketing strategy, and will come from a b2b services, ideally software background. The role will be based out of their Yorkshire offices and offer hybrid working.

You'll need to be team oriented, have strong organisational skills and great attention to detail as well as can-do attitude
