We are recruiting for a Interim Head Of Regional Housing And Planning. You will beresponsible for the delivery of the ambitious housing plans, taking a lead on the successful implementation of the regions Joint Spatial Plan (JSP). Leading a team of housing and planning professionals, the role will be key in designing, establishing, and leading the strategic Planning and Housing functions of the Combined Authority.
We are looking for a proven senior leader, you will have a strong housing and planning background, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale housing and planning programmes.
Adept at working with partners from a variety of public and private sector organisations, you will be recognised for your ability to work in a collaborative way, but also to show leadership in decision-making. You must have experience and proven track record in the formulation and delivery of strategic planning and housing strategies and policies in a Local Authority or public sector organisation of comparable scope and complexity.
