The Test Lead is required to provide leadership to the testing workstream and delivery of the overall test strategy, approach, and plan. This role is accountable for testing against defined plans, managing the testing team and ensuring the release of a high-quality product, minimising defects, and ensuring the solution is in line with business requirements.

QA Test Lead - London/Hybrid working

The test Lead is a key resource that oversees the QA team, ensuring that all changes (stories) are tested at pace and working closely in collaboration with developers, tech leads, product owners, and other project managers.



Key Responsibilities

  • Review, refine and implement the overall testing strategy and standards, approach, and governance with a focus on end-to-end elements of testing
  • Manage the planning of all testing-related activities and accountable for translating test strategy into detailed test plans
  • Ensure robust testing processes and governance for all elements of the solution and communicate these clearly and effectively to all stakeholders
  • Manage the QA team to develop good quality test scenarios and scripts
  • Manage test execution against plan leveraging both manual and automation testing and including but not limited to system integration testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, regression testing, security, and penetration testing
  • Engage with the wider team to ensure alignment and clarity on the overall testing approach, managing, and escalating risks and issues as appropriate

Skills/Experience

  • Salesforce projects delivery
  • Experience of working with CRM architecture and principles/cloud services.
  • Extensive test management experience in a complex global IT environment
  • Significant experience and knowledge of testing strategy, tools, and governance processes (incl. Jira)
  • Considerable experience in testing and project management methodologies (incl. Agile)
  • Good working knowledge of industry best practice test management tools
  • Good understanding of test documentation and test controls
  • Experience and understanding of Salesforce and complex application environments
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Exceptional planning and managing delivery to plan as well as highly developed organising and delegating skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships at senior levels in the business both vertically and laterally and to influence and be persuasive at all levels.

Salary Range from £65k-£75k + Company benefits.
