My FMCG manufacturing client are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Planner to join their planning team based in the Norfolk area. You will manage the production planning and scheduling of the manufacturing and packing plant.

Description

As Production Planning and Inventory Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Achieving a product availability targets of 99.5%
  • Issue a weekly production plan/daily schedule for two local sites
  • Own site weekly exception and adherence reporting to facilitate execution of the plan
  • Support the maintenance of BOM's
  • Drive issues to resolution in week or in period (exceptions to S&OP plan)
  • Tracking and analysis of key site measures and challenging performance based on these KPI's
  • Provide concise and clear information to the site leadership team to enable them to drive action and improvement
  • Lead the Capacity Review process including run rate sign off, available hours and labour and gain commitment to forward volumes

Profile

  • 2+ years working in a Production, Materials & Inventory Planning, Replenishment & Control role within a manufacturing environment (FMCG advantageous!)
  • Strong IT skills - Microsoft Excel Advanced
  • Knowledge of S&OP processes and culture
  • Continually strives to improve and takes pride in the delivery of own work
  • Ability to work with customers to understand their requirements and manage expectations
