Seeability specialises in supporting people who have learning disabilities or autism, who may also have sight loss, to live ambitious lives and achieve things they never thought possible. Whether that is forming more friendships and relationships, enjoying new experiences and activities or finding employment.

We encourage people with disabilities to challenge what they expect from life, from themselves and from wider society.

The people we support overcome huge barriers to achieve exciting new things every day - they challenge us all to think about what’s possible and to rethink disability.

Our self-advocacy, influencing, supported employment and digital inclusion programmes mean more people with disabilities can achieve their ambitions, while challenging assumptions, attitudes and policies.

The new Head of Finance will be a highly self-motivated, intellectually confident, and emotionally intelligent leader with a strong empathy with the cause of disability. The successful appointee will have carried out hands on management of people, processes and procedures within a high performing finance team in any sector. However, knowledge of charity finance within either an executive, or non-executive setting would be a significant plus. He/she will have a recognised accountancy qualification.

In a very busy and varied environment you will lead by example and support the Finance Director with corporate governance. This is a great opportunity to work and develop your skills in a fulfilling high impact and rewarding role.

Saxton Bampfylde Ltd is acting as an employment agency advisor to Seeability on this appointment. Alternatively, telephone +44 (0)20 7227 0880 (during office hours). Applications should be received by noon on Wednesday 29th June.
