Finance Director

The Location: Mayfair, London

The Opportunity:

Finatal are partnering exclusively with a leading multisite Private Equity-backed Hospitality & Leisure business with bases in West London, New York and Los Angeles. The group are boasting revenues of c. £10m, their aim is to grow to £100m over the next 5 years, both organically and via targeted and specific bolt-on acquisitions.

We are seeking a very hands-on SME Finance Director to lead a small best-in-class finance function and bring a business partnering approach to the position.

The Role:

Partnering with an impressive Chair, MD and management team, you will be tasked with the following:

• Business Partnering: An incredible opportunity to work with department heads to understand & optimise business performance. Understand the key commercial areas (revenues, costs, timing of invoicing, cashflow) and identifying any potential opportunities and mitigating potential risks.
• Accounting & Controlling: It is expected that the successful candidate will have full responsibility for leading the finance function. Taking ownership of transforming the systems, controls and processes to support the business growth.
• Reporting: Ownership of reporting, improving, and maintaining quality and standards.

This is a fast-moving, dynamic and collaborative culture. You will be working with and interacting with creatives in the publishing, media, entertainment and arts industries. It could suit an individual either based in London or someone who is based elsewhere and is open to going into the offices 4 days a week.
