Job Overview

Reporting to the Group Head of Web Operations to implement various projects and tasks including, but not limited to E-commerce projects involving various systems and technologies encompassing all aspects of web operations from the site itself to all Back End software and systems - in particular Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware, Python, SQL, C#, on-boarding new sales channels, DC web operations, logging and assisting in the resolution of web support cases, producing and maintaining reports, and developing new and existing systems as required.

Design, develop and deliver technical E-commerce solutions to meet a broad range of requirements including: new tools; processes; website projects, updates and support; website and system optimisation; report creation; systems integration as part of an experienced team.

The Web Operations team consists of several members that work together, and closely with the IT and Trade teams, to manage all operational aspects of TFG London's B2B and B2C portfolio of applications.

Workload for the team is generated through 3 different streams: projects, service desk tickets or monitoring. The team are expected to meet targets for those 3 streams, whether that target is a project milestone, service desk ticket SLA or response time for responding to and rectifying issues raised.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide solutions and support for all web roadmap tasks and project milestones
  • Develop, maintain and enhance current procedures and functions in Python and C#
  • Second line of contact for all web operations queries
  • Provide solutions and support for all web operational issues and problems raised
  • Understand and improve web systems processes and procedures
  • Manage automated testing software
  • Develop and lead web end-to-end systems UAT
  • Work closely with third party suppliers to effect systems development and change requests
  • Document new and existing processes
  • Log and follow through to completion web support cases including bug fixes, enhancements, and improvements
  • To assist web operations team as required
  • Assist in the production of E-commerce reports, primarily using ODBC SQL queries published to Microsoft Excel including the use of VBA
  • Write and optimise SQL queries as required by the business
  • The role requires occasional out of hours working
