An opportunity has arisen to join a leading construction main contractor within the heart of Bristol for an exciting and prestigious project. As the Project Director, you will be working for a respectable and thriving main contractor managing a multimillion project and will be responsible for delivering the end product on time, within budget and to the agreed quality.

To be considered for this role, it is essential you have previously worked for a tier one main contractor and have recently managed multimillion pound schemes.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing the logistical requirements of the project
Meeting regularly with clients, third parties and managers to report on progress
Setting targets, objectives and responsibilities for all supervised staff
Regularly review timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track
Reporting to clients and board members on project progress
Recommending policy and procedure improvements
Monitoring performance against agreed criteria
Ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within contract timescales
Dealing with contract disputes and mitigating the impact of any issues
Skills:

Managed projects of over £50m from start to finish
Detailed Health and Safety knowledge
Relevant site tickets including SMSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS
Full UK driving licence
Concrete Frame, Student Accommodation
Proven delivery capability on time to clients full satisfaction
Able to use a computer and the main software packages competently
