Head of Marketing GBP60k - GBP80k with Share Scheme - Glasgow

E-Comm, B2C, Scaling Business

A fast-growing global business in Glasgow is looking to hire a Head of Marketing to help develop their 5 year growth strategy and quadruple the business into a GBP100m+ outfit. This is a really exciting time for the business and as such they are looking for a visionary candidate to help steer the growth journey and open up new marketing channels. This role is brand new for the organisation and will work with some impressive leaders across the business to outline strategy.

The ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and comprehensive knowledge of branding. They will have the ability to lead a team of digital marketers, writers, designers, and account managers.

We are looking for candidates who have experience within E-commerce, B2C sales and ideally some exposure to a scaling business. If you have any of these skills please highlight this on your application/CV

Key deliverables for this role

* Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally

* Oversee and grow the marketing department, identifying revenue opportunities within our established patient base and delivering consistent growth by making our brand a household name.

* Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations

* Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

* Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with stakeholders, management, creative and content teams, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services

* Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations

* Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales

* Hold regular meetings with the team to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure team consistently performs above standard

* Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis

What we would like to see from candidates -

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications

* Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns

* Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

* Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

* Proven ability to plan and manage budgets Preferred Qualifications

* Proficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design software

* Established portfolio of media and PR contacts
