The Role
This is a genuine once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape the protection and secure delivery of some of the most sensitive information entrusted to Australia by our allies.

As the Technical Director for Taskforce ICT Security you will draw on your experience and expertise to provide deep technical advice and leadership on information and cyber security to Security Division and the broader Nuclear Powered Submarine Taskforce.

You will work closely with ICT Security peers from organisations in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom to provide assurance that AUKUS information is protected to the highest possible standards

Your guidance and mentoring will develop stronger information security awareness and specialisation across Security Division and the Taskforce as a whole, and you will be a trusted advisor to the Security Division Executive on all information security matters.

About our Team
Protection and Assurance Branch operates within the Security Division of the Nuclear Powered Submarine Taskforce, and we work closely with our peers in Security Division and across the Australian Security Community to ensure that our people, facilities, and information are protected and secure at all times.

We deliver the following functions for the Taskforce:
Information security including cyber security.

  • Capability security.

  • Security compliance.

  • Security assurance.
