Job Details
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced interim to support this business with a large new contract they have won. The successful interim will manage a cross-functional project team to deliver new products to the agreed manufacturers, the team will include Production, Operatives, Supply Chain, Innovation, Development, Commercial & Finance along with other support functions.
The objective is to maximize overall financial contribution to the business, through:
- Improved price negotiation
- Better negotiated supply and delivery routes
- Improved production processes
- Standardized processes
- Improved quality output
At the end of the assignment you will have:
- Developed and approved the suppliers for raw materials
- Negotiated and agreed supply agreements, contracts, and delivery schedules.
- Introduced and negotiated process and supply agreements and service level agreements with third-party manufacturers
- Managed and documented manufacturing processes
- Created Standard Operating Procedures
This role will best suit a process or project Engineer with a commercial background and experience of delivering large value commercial projects and managing supply chain negotiations.
