Job Details

A Business Development Director is required to help drive revenue streams within existing accounts. Focusing on some of their largest accounts, you will ultimately be responsibility for selling a range of cloud based services.

Description

As the Business Development Director, you will:

  • Be the lead specialist to introduce cloud services into new clients and existing Group accounts
  • Work closely with existing team members to help support them with overall account growth as the cloud specialist
  • Work on new customer acquisitions and introduce their cloud products and services
  • Build a strong market knowledge of your vertical market to understand the challenges and opportunities to align proposition against
  • Develop a deep understanding of the vertical market to understand the trends of the market and how services could support these trends and objectives
  • Work closely with the client to help them achieve their business objectives
  • Work towards pre agreed targets, building and maintaining sufficient pipelines to ensure revenues are maintained and additional revenue growth is achieved YOY
  • Identify and influence key stakeholders to ensure opportunity is understood and maximised
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the client's needs are listened to and aligned to products and services available

Profile

As the Business Development Director, you will have:

  • A strong sales track record in delivering and exceeding against targets in a new business capacity
  • A track record of developing new opportunities at an Enterprise level, working on complex, large value deals
  • A background in understanding client and vertical market objectives, aligning the proposition to support their objectives
  • Experience operating within the Enterprise space
  • Ideally created an expert knowledge of some vertical markets, understanding the direction of the market and how to align services to these trends
  • Strong experience selling cloud services, whether an IT software vendor, MSP or cloud provider
  • Ideally, working knowledge of either AWS or Microsoft cloud services, though other cloud providers considered
  • Ideally have some technical capabilities
  • An ability to travel across England as required, working remotely
