Our client are a large employer in Leeds looking to appoint a new head of legal.
Suitable candidates will be senior pensions solicitors (whether in house or private practice) who can also demonstrate hands on commercial experience required to be head of legal. You will be the leading authority within the business on legal and compliance matters, to act as its data protection officer and to lead the business's legal, compliance and technical support function. Amongst other responsibilities you will be the primary contact for the business with The Pensions Regulator, be responsible for risk assessment , oversee disputes, scheme changes and be active with in the firms security committee.
Key to this role is commercial aptitude and confidence to engage with stake holders at every level to ensure the legal arm is proactive and effective.
