Our client based in Mid Kent, operating in a niche sector of the food industry are looking to recruit a Finance Director with solid Logistics, FMCG or Supply Chain experience.
Working in partnership with the CEO this position will involve leading an established finance function whilst commercially supporting the growth of the business.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
* Working closely with CEO and Senior Management Team
* Manage, lead and resource the finance department
* Set, follow and deliver budgets and forecasts
* Project and cost accounting
* Preparation of accounts, financial statements and activity reports
* Monitoring business performance
* Provide astute and insightful financial analysis
* Develop financial modelling to support business initiatives
* Ensure the company is in line with statutory regulations and legislation including insurances
* Financial and strategic analysis
* Review operational procedures and make necessary improvements
* Oversee accounting activities including cost control, compliance, cash flow, risk analysis and profit and loss
You will need to be:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* A team player who can communicate effectively
* At least 5 years relevant experience
* A strategic thinker who can provide financial insight to the business
