RedLaw are working with a boutique law firm who are looking to hire a General Counsel/ Head of Risk to join them in London.
Reporting to the managing partner, the purpose of this role is to act as the focal point for the firms compliance standards and culture and to provide an advisory role for compliance aspects across the firm.
Responsibilities include:
This is a very unique opportunity and would suit a senior compliance professional who would be confident in being the firms first point of contact for any risk and compliance related queries. The firm are seeking a Qualified Solicitor with previous experience of dealing with UHNW clients in a legal setting, who is looking for a challenging yet rewarding role.

- Implementing and delivering the firms compliance framework
- Supporting the MLRO and Risk Committee with compliance matters
- Monitoring the BAU function
- Assessing and amending the firms risk assessment documentation
- Managing the Risk and Compliance Assistant
- Investigating breaches of all regulations as required
- Delivering regular internal training
