Technical Senior Project Manager/Remote/6 months/Start ASAP

We're looking for the senior project manager to lead the Centralised Log Management Solution (CLOM) project.
The project goal is to provide basic Analytics & Reporting capabilities for security and business units to be able to cover Regulatory and Compliance requirements, including internal Risk Management and Operations. Another major expectation is to provide technical ground to improve/optimise business case of existing SIEM services.
CLOM is not about replacement of existing SIEM, but establishment of Log Management with basic Analytics and Reporting for cases, which cannot be covered with existing SIEM for many reasons, including financials. Advanced security monitoring & detection capabilities should still be covered by SIEM services, not CLOM.

The business cases:

- Non-compliant log retention - we are unable to retain compliance logs properly and provide evidence for audit requests ("no logging" finding).
- Non-compliant log governance - we are unable to document what logs we send, who owns them, what logs we keep, what logs we drop, when we delete them, and why.
- Incident alerting and response impaired - we are unable to deliver full SIEM value to SIRT and SOC because of the load of compliance logging.

Responsibilities:

* Drive regulatory projects
* Support the business and ensure that we meet regulatory requirements
* Communicate and collaborate regularly with stakeholders of all seniority levels within the client
* Support implementation of risk agenda in a fast-pace environment
* Ensure deliveries and quality of the projects
* Adhere to project management best practices, methodologies, systems and tools as defined by my client

Requirements:

* Proven work experience as a Senior Technical Project Manager in IT projects or similar role.
* Experience with regulatory projects and implementation would be an advantage.
* Experience in developing the Log Management System for log collection, aggregation, storage, analysis and reporting is mandatory.
* Ownership and pro-activeness to drive projects, with the ability to quickly absorb new information and deal with ambiguity
* Good presentation skills
* Communication and teamwork skills, ability to build relationships and influence across organisational boundaries
* Good co-operation skills to build relationship within teams and with stakeholders
* Analytical and problem- solving skills, ability to share knowledge
* Structured, pragmatic, and loves "getting things done"
* Fluent in English
