An exciting Plant Manager opportunity to join a global business located in North Lincolnshire. Michael Page are exclusively working with one of the worlds leading fast paced manufacturers, based in N. Lincolnshire. This global manufacturer has 4 UK sites and a worldwide presence.

Located in N. Lincolnshire my client has 4 UK sites and a worldwide presence. They are now looking to recruit a Plant Manager to be based at the Lincolnshire site.
Description
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Plant Manager will be responsible for a team of c200 via 8 direct reports over which lead the 8 integral parts of the business. You will be tasked with optimising production, warehouse and logistics functions in co-ordination with HSE, QM & CI functions through providing effective management and leadership and driving each defined function of the Operations Department.
- Through structured management and leadership of the Operations function, ensure processes are optimised, costs controlled and the department is developed according to future needs
- Ensure best in class Health & Safety
- Identify and develop continuous improvement opportunity across site
- Initiate and drive cross functional planning and cooperation
- Ensure efficient Logistics are set up to meet current and future needs of customers
- Ownership for a market leading capital expenditure budget
- Deliver world class manufacturing metrics ensuring the site maintains its unrivalled reputation
Profile
This successful Plant Manager will possess the following skills within manufacturing and production:
- Proven ability to align, engage and motivate team members and demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence to support workforce development
- A proven background in Operational Leadership within a fast paced or process led
- sector
- Ideally a technical degree or similar
- Strong comprehension of data and lead metrics
- A demonstrable leadership acumen
- Market leading understanding of HSE regulations and systems
