Head of Engineering - IoT, Software

A fascinating scaleup in London who are building technology to predict killer diseases earlier than previously thought possible have a brand new vacancy for a Head of Engineering to join the team and work directly with the company founders on an ambitious growth & technical strategy.

The company are backed by some of the world's leading investment funds and have an exceptional leadership team that consists of industry-renowned innovators in Health & medical Technology. Your role will see you building and leading a team of Software Engineers who will be building a next-gen product that helps save lives and enables people to receive care and treatment at the very beginning of severe illnesses.

The business are moving their Engineering function to the UK (previously off-shored) and the Head of Engineering will be responsible for putting the foundations in place to aggressively scale the team in the UK and subsequently leading, managing and mentoring this team on what will be an incredibly exciting journey.

Key skills:

** 5+ Years in Engineering Leadership roles

** Exposure to a fast-paces Series A, B or C startup/scaleup environment

** Strong knowledge in one or more of Python, C++ or JavaScript

** IoT experience - connected devices

** Strong strategic skills - management, mentoring, dealing with senior/c-level stakeholders, technical roadmap development and innovation

** MSc or PhD in related field - AI/Data/Maths would be ideal

Beneficial skills:

** Data Science, ML & Analytics experience
