Role - IS Project Manager
Salary - GBP60,000 - GBP70,000 p/a
Location - Manchester (Hybrid)
A Leading UK Healthcare body are on the look for an IS Project Manager to join their team following continued growth. The IS Project Team Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team delivering numerous simultaneous projects within the IS function and across the organisation, see spec below for details:
Role
. The management of a team delivering IS projects consisting of numerous technical and business streams
. Oversee various work streams and coordinate the resources responsible for them
. Develop & manage project documentation including project initiation documentation, plans, risks and issues logs
. Prepare regular project reports
. Organise project board meetings and present progress updates to project board members.
. Oversee the team's portfolio of work and contribute to portfolio and resource planning
. Undertake structured tenders in line with the UK procurement process
. Manage internal resources and third party resources
Knowledge and skills
. Strong technical knowledge based on significant IT experience
. Experience of managing changes to production systems.
. Ability to understand a project, map it to technologies and make recommendations.
. Significant experience of managing projects including 3rd parties and technical resources.
. Significant experience of business analysis work, including working with budget holders to identify the systems requirements and translate them to functional specifications
. Experience of managing projects using a structured methodology (ideally Prince2)
. Experience and understanding of Agile software development methodologies
. Knowledge of change management from both a technical and project perspective
