Our client is a well established, fast growth environmental consultancy business with a team of over 200 specialists across a number of locations in the UK.

There is a requirement within their Manchester office to further build the Ecology team and continue to build on their success in the North West. The Ecology Principal Team Leader will offer a driven, technical expert the opportunity to build their career in a lead role within a forward-thinking consultancy.

The role will be responsible for effective team management in the Manchester office, plus the management of all aspects of survey and reporting. It will support the needs of colleagues and clients alike, sharing and always working to achieve the Company’s vision and values.

In short, the Ecology Principal Team Leader will be:

  • A technical expert in terrestrial ecology
  • A hands-on operator
  • Responsible for running and delivering projects to clients
  • Understand budgets and P&L
  • A team leader – comfortable with nurturing and mentoring junior staff members
  • Winning work – being a part of the bid process.
