Job Description

As Finance Analyst, your duties will include:

• Financial and statistical analysis of performance data, to assist with strategic business decision making
• Involvement in the production of regular corporate reporting
• Proactively support month end accounting process by analysing, reviewing and investigating actual results versus budget, forecast and prior year
• Provide timely ongoing revenue/cost trends by analysis of appropriate data
• Assist in the production of monthly operational forecast, including in depth liaison with other departments
• Assisting in annual budget setting and work centre analysis
• Provide regular reporting and insights to management on business performance
• Ad hoc support to wider finance and operational team

The Successful Applicant

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
• Prior financial analysis/FP&A experience
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (desirable)
• Excellent Excel/Systems skills
• Ability to manipulate and understand complex financial information
• Comfortable working in a multi-currency environment (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident business partner - ability to develop strong working relationships
