Description

Software Automation Tester (Cypress)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Software Automation Tester to join our team to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • You will be working in a small team to provide QA for agile sprints.
  • Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
  • Analysing business requirements to define test strategy.
  • Creating and verifying defects in Jira, working with the development team to ensure an efficient resolution.
  • Executing manual test runs and expanding the TestRail test assets.
  • Developing and expanding the automated test cases.
  • Provide documentation when required.
  • Help troubleshoot issues.

Profile

Software Automation Tester (Cypress)

Essential skills:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in an automation testing position.
  • Experience of creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of end to end automation tests tools (ideally Cypress).
  • Good knowledge of automated endpoint testing (ideally REST-assured framework).
  • Good knowledge of performance testing (ideally Jmeter).
  • Good knowledge of BDD and TDD tools (ideally Cucumber).
  • Ability to read and interpret code (Java Script/Java).
  • JSON Knowledge.
  • Experience of microservice testing
  • Knowledge of UX/UI tests.
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with ticketing and workflow systems (ideally JIRA, Confluence and TestRail).
  • Basic SQL ability for querying and verifying data.
  • A passion for quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and good mathematical ability.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Strong organisational skills.
