Kolt Recruitment are working with a leading and established accident repair company who are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer / Operations Director for a new and exciting opportunity.

Following investment and with a substantial growth strategy, our client have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Director to join the senior leadership team. This role will be crucial in shaping the company's operational strategy, driving performance and successfully leading current and future sites.

The purpose of this role is to assist in the creation of and deliver the Group's operational business strategy; achieving high levels of customer service; maintaining agreed performance KPIs; championing the values and goals of the business; and ensuring the company continues to deliver sustainable profitable growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading the ongoing development of a high performing team, with a working environment that, while sometimes high pressured, is one in which employees can take pride and enjoyment in providing a great service to our customers.
  • Ability to manage and grow external relationships (suppliers, customers, work providers).
  • Using expert knowledge and experience, guide the operations in best practice ways of working.
  • Partner and work collaboratively with other members of the senior management and leadership team to develop company goals.
  • Understanding of financial targets and objectives and ability to analyse data and use it to make informed decisions.
  • Engage with and present to the Board.
  • Define team structure, be involved in recruitment, development and motivation of staff.
  • Able to deliver key business projects.
  • Take ownership for the Group operations, empowering others to move fast and be creative.
  • Define what needs to take place and ensure it happens.
  • Challenge the 'how' and the 'why' to continually improve our ways of working.

Experience
