Group Financial Controller / Finance Director

Communicate have recently partnered with a global AIM-listed Oil and Gas firm in Central London to place their Group FC/FD.

The business, in recent years, has been on a very aggressive acquisition spree and because of that find themselves in need of an impressive, technically strong Group Financial Controller, to oversee all aspects of Financial Reporting/Consolidations, Tax & Treasury.

You will be working closely with the CFO to head up a lean, but high performing team across London and Europe. Personality-wise, we are looking for highly energetic and charismatic candidates, who are on ambitious career trajectories and looking really see their next move as a long term one.

On paper, we will be looking for ACA Qualified Senior Finance leaders, who have held similar roles within a large corporate/blue-chip/FTSE or AIM-listed environment. You will most likely be working in a similar capacity, looking to perhaps make a sideways move to a larger business or step up from a similar sized one.

This will be an extensive, but fast-paced process for them, so interviews will likely take place over the next fortnight.

Qualifications / Experience Required:

• ACA (ideally Big 4) Qualified with significant PQE
• Extensive experience at ‘Head of’ or ‘Director’ level, within FTSE or AIM-listed businesses
• Relevant sector experience within the Oil and Gas/Renewables/Energy space
