Operations Director - Fine dining, luxury hospitality £140,000/150,000

COREcruitment is currently working with a luxury lifestyle and restaurant business looking for a Director for its London business. The business is looking to appoint a London based Senior Director to take over all strategic, operational and financial control for the London Business. The role will require full financial responsibility for a £10/£15m business, board level strategy and hands-on operations. It is based in central London and offers a creative, dynamic and engaging environment to guests and employees. The businesses ethos very much defines modern values, pairing them with luxury hospitality.

The Position

You will lead the team, living and applying the values across the business, creating a wonderful environment, delivering great hospitality and enabling the creation of a sustainable & vibrant network. You will lead the operational delivery, taking full P&L responsibility to ensure the long-term profitability of the business model in the interests of staff, members, and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finance, Policy and governance: You will have experience of being a key decision maker and working direct to a Board of Directors. You will work closely with the board to ensure strong governance, and that the Board has at its disposal the resources, guidance and professional advice it needs to perform its duties. You will lead strategic planning around financial growth, working with the finance team and board to implement and financial growth plan that is ambitious yet deliverable.
• People & Leadership: You will mentor, guid and inspire the team to exceptional performance and in every aspect of the business you will ensure continuous innovation and challenger thinking. Your excellent network in the industry and beyond will make you an excellent brand guardian ceaselessly promoting the business to relevant communities and the media.
• Management of operations: You will lead the end-to-end, day-to-day delivery of the business creating maximum return on resources available, ensuring every guest and stakeholder as well as the team have the best experience, communication and support available. You will take full P&L responsibility for the business across all revenue and cost lines while ensuring the business performs to plan in terms of carbon emissions and social impact, setting new standards in the sector.
