Your new company
We are a nationally leading public body dedicated to improving the lives of people in Oxfordshire, working tirelessly to sustain a thriving community and drive the success of our National-leading practices. Covid-19 is playing a major part in how we deliver health care services, and we are in a period of substantial change, embracing new services and processes to ensure continued transformation. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, we require a Deputy Head of Operations to lead the Pandemic Response Service (PRS) where you will be responsible for the operational management of the COVID-19 response.

Your new role
You will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and operationally manage the Covid Response Service and Covid Clinical Assessment Service, including the clinical support team. You will need to ensure high quality services and outputs are delivered, by both internal departments and external suppliers, reviewing any change requests that will influence the operation of the service. As you work in partnership with the Head of Operations you will effectively ensure that operational changes are successfully completed without adversely impacting on the wider business. You will also positively contribute to the strategic development of the Trust, ensuring best practice and learning is disseminated across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
Your background in managing internal and external partners relationships with an in-depth experience of managing projects and an operational team of up to 20 members, will lead to your success. You will be well-versed with service development plans and have experience of change request process and impact analysis. You must have prior experience of NHS emergency response services and have an appreciation of call centre requirements. Experience in risk management within an operational environment and knowledge and experience of NHS Systems will be essential to the role.
