The above was quoted today by a highly successful Finance Director who works for a fast growing, international organisation who are looking to hire a Head of FP&A on a permanent basis. The Head of FP&A will receive a salary of up to £140,000 per annum plus a fantastic benefits package which includes healthcare, pension, bonus, allowances plus much more. The role will offer hybrid and flexible working; however candidates must be willing to commute to the organisations head office in London when the role requires them to do so.

The duties of the Head of FP&A include but are not limited to:

- Being a key player in the creation of long terms strategies across the business.

- Leading and developing a team of 8 individuals installing a high performance and success culture.

- Driving and implementing change across the business to ensure all business units are aligned to company strategies. This will also involve supporting an SAP implementation plus a number of other projects.

- Leading the creation and delivery of budgeting and forecasting cycles.

- Presenting and driving monthly for the whole business.

- Creating and delivering insightful analysis and MI reports for board.

- Improving the level of financial support across the business.

- Pushing the FP&A team into a more strategic partnership with the wider business.

- Challenging key stakeholders and board members when required.

- Interact with all board members across the business including both US and UK based leadership teams.

- Ad-hoc duties when required.

The ideal candidate will:

- Have proven experience within a similar role.

- Be a qualified accountant with over 8 years PQE.

- Have experience of being hands on but also driving and implementing strategic plans.

- Have experience and demonstrate the level of gravitas to challenge key stakeholders.

- Be collaborative and engaging, with the ability to deliver financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

- Be goal focused over task focused.

- Be a self-starter.

- Be a strong leader with experience of improving team performance and mentoring/developing team members.

- Be motivated by change!

The organisation

The business are a fast growth, international operation who are regarded as one of the market leaders in their industry. They have a reputation for hiring high level candidates who have a high performance and success driven mindset but are not looking to be part of a large corporate PLC. This position has become available as a result of recent progression of the previous incumbent into a senior leadership and board level role.

Salary and Benefits.

The Head of FP&A will receive a salary of up to £140,000 per annum plus a very strong benefits package. The role will also be offered on a hybrid and flexible working arrangement with travel into the London HQ when the role requires.
