A growing retail client of mine are looking for a shift operations managers on days and nights based in the Liverpool area

Description
The shift operations managers will:
- Lead and manage a warehouse team to ensure a balance to both minimise cost and maximise performance
- Set and communicate your team's objectives and KPIs, regularly managing and reviewing performance
- Create individual development plans with your management team
- Align team resources to deliver short term, tactical plans, ensuring recruitment activity aligns with operational plans
- Ensure your team have the right skills to perform their processes and procedures in order to both achieve their performance targets and meet our H&S and quality standards
- Ensure your team complies to all our warehouse H&S processes and procedures, ensuring mandatory training and compliance records are up to date
Profile
The shift operations managers based in Liverpool for this growing retailer will need to have a proven track record in leading large scale teams delivering on the day to day distribution activities and also developing a future prove team to help the business with their growth plans.
This role will suit someone who has the energy and drive to develop their team and drive improved efficient ways of working
- Extensive experience of working in a fast-moving warehouse and distribution environment
- Advanced experience of managing warehousing regulatory H&S checks and procedures
- Experience of managing change including business improvement initiatives
- Experience of managing in a unionised environment
- Experience of managing efficiency improvement processes
Job Offer
The shift operations manager will be expected with work shift patterns:
Days - any 5 out of 7 with the expectation of 2 weekends out of 4 , 6-2 and 2-10 rotating shifts - £55,000
Nights - permanent nights 10-6 - £65,000
