The business are an established cosmetics business that produce high quality products that are well known within the UK and worldwide. Based in London with flexible working, this role will lead the procurement of all packaging, supplier relationship management and long term strategy of all packaging procurement categories.
Client Details
With a high level of growth in 2021, our client is a well established and highly recognised cosmetics business, that has only recently created a strategic procurement function.
The business are a cosmetics business that produce high quality products that are well known within the UK and worldwide.
This will be the second hire into the function and requires someone with a strong procurement background, buying packaging commodities.
Description
- Develop relationships with packaging suppliers around the world.
- Negotiation and establish the long term procurement strategy.
- Work cross functionally with internal stakeholders such as NPD, finance and supply chain.
- Manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously
Profile
- 5 years of procurement experience within a cosmetics or personal care FMCG business.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Drive to succeed and the ability to 'think outside the box'
