Skills/experience

  • Experience of working in a complex Matrix environment.

  • Experience of the SAFe agile framework.

Role

  • Prioritisation and management of the IT projects portfolio ensuring alignment to business strategy.
  • Implementation of project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines and standards in order to establish a stable framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve project delivery.
  • Ensuring the successful delivery of all IT projects.
  • IT portfolio management and reporting on program and project status.
  • Establishing standards, processes, and tools used for effective agile project delivery.
  • Respond to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinate solutions.
  • Monitor and analyse project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems and to propose improvements and cost savings for future projects.
  • Act as the organizational change agent for improving Project Management maturity and practices.
  • IT portfolio, program, and project budget management.
  • Ensure career development, talent management, development plans, and succession planning is in place using Connected Conversations, the talent management process, and career development plans.
  • Ensure all Health, Safety, and Wellbeing practices are adhered to and reported on.
