Rationale for Review
With the evolution of the various processes surrounding deal-making it becomes necessary to have one person that will act as a single point of contact for the BD team when it comes to interacting with the various teams handling these processes. As PoC for BD, he/she will ensure the appropriate translation of relevant processes and their update into practical ways of working and will manage the training of the BD team. Additionally, the BD Ops Senior Specialist will play a critical project management role in support of the BD lead for large transactions where he/she will ensure planning of DD, governance, appropriate follow-up of processes. Finally, the BD Ops Senior Specialist will ensure all BD systems remain fit for purpose and will update these as required.

Job Purpose
The BD Ops Senior Specialist will be the interface of the BD team with all functions surrounding deal making, ensuring the connection of the BD team with all required functions. He/she will also have a project management role to support the BD lead on large transactions and be responsible for the implementation of key changes to the BD systems.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the single point of contact of the BD team for all functions linked to deal-making (including compliance, corporate development, WWBD).
Handle all reporting requirements for the BD team.
Grasp and implement any new/updated process relating to deal-making.
Ensure appropriate training of the BD team on these new/updated processes.
Act as a project manager supporting the BD lead on large transactions.
Ensure update and proper management of all BD systems
