The Client & Role | Who Are They?

Bean counting or understanding what the bean's mean?

We're on the hunt for someone with the dedication and ambition to join a hugely successful and profitable SME sized manufacturing business which has seen unprecedented growth over the last few years.

Of course, you'll have responsibility for the day-to-day bean counting such as production of the monthly management accounts, including P&L, variance analysis, cash flow, balance sheet and submissions. But you'll also be required to develop systems and structures to really understand what the numbers mean to the business and play an active part in the development of the company strategy and day to day business management.

The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?

You should have a broad and rounded financial management acumen, with previous experience in an SME environment. Whilst being commercially astute, we're looking for someone who has excellent process and interpersonal skills.

You must be someone that's come from a manufacturing background, ideally SME environment £15m turnover plus with man management experience. Chartered management accountant (CIMA or ACCA), MBA would be helpful but not essential. Finally, you should be IT literate with strong Excel skills and accounting systems knowledge and experience with SAGE and Cognos might help.
