We have been retained to identify a Lead Developer with expertise in Python including ML libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Tensorflow and current or previous experience of C++ (or Java) for the architectural design, build and implementation of an entirely new Portfolio Management platform to support the growing Equities business (from Single Stock to Detla-1 trading).

As the Lead Programmer and Architect you will be tasked with building and owning relationships with Trading, Middle and Back Office functions as well as Sell-Side Prime Finance groups.

Salary from GBP140k-GBP180k

1st Year Guaranteed comp GBP230k-GBP280k

Compensation will be based on technical expertise, business knowledge and depth of transferable skills to other areas of the organisation.

The role will require the full life cycle build of a bespoke Portfolio Management offering covering the following functionality

• Investment Portfolio optimization
• Analytics module
• Fund Accounting
• Cash & Inventory Management
• Approval workflow
• Dashboards for financial reporting, summary data

Skills Required

Candidates suited to this role will either current be working in a Buy-Side or FinTech firm building out similar Portfolio Management solutions or in an Investment Bank within an Equity Finance/Prime Brokerage unit.

Academic success in Computer Science/Technology plus expertise in Python and current or previous C++ (or Java) skills are key.

You will have 7+ years experience as a Software Engineer including experience as a Lead or Systems Architect.
